Redberry Restaurants, the fastest growing QSR franchisee in Canada, proudly marked Aug. 31 as the opening of their 150th BURGER KING® location in Canada. This landmark store is the 10th new BURGER KING location built this year by Redberry and is an example of the commitment to build more than 100 more BURGER KING restaurants across Canada in the years ahead.

“We’re excited to show these communities the Redberry difference,” said Ken Otto, Redberry CEO. “Guests are going to love the flame-grilled flavor that BURGER KING is known for, and we are proud to serve the Stoney Creek community with Redberry style and hospitality.”

With a contemporary look and state-of-the-art drive-thru technology beneath a unique, covered drive-thru lane, and coupled with a dedication to excellent service, Redberry continues to redefine the dining experience in Canada’s QSR sector.

“This is a momentous chapter in our journey,” said Chris Racine, COO of Redberry. “Our passion to grow and share the BURGER KING experience has driven us to this incredible milestone. We invite the Stoney Creek and Hamilton communities to join us in celebrating at our newest restaurant.”

Director of Marketing for Redberry, Sharron Fry, commented, “Redberry is proud to support the local community through job creation at this third Redberry-operated BURGER KING in the area and by offering opportunities to apply for educational scholarships through the BK FoundationSM. We truly are architects of a different kind of restaurant company.”

Redberry plans to build more than 100 new Canadian BURGER KING restaurants in the next few years. The company aims to generate more than 4,000 new employment opportunities to support these significant build-out plans.
